Walk For CORD!!!!

Please join us for Walk for CORD!!!

When:              Memorial Day Monday, May 27, 2019, 9.30 am – 1pm. 

Where:            Kensington Park, West Boat Launch – Shelter P  (same as usual, also called Shelter O)
Take I-96 at Kensington Road, Exit 151.  Follow signs into the park.  After the tollbooth, the West Boat Launch, Shelter "O" is the first Picnic area on the right after the Kensington Metro Park Golf Course.  Google Archives still lists this as Shelter "P" so please do not get confused by the letter!


Why:                To Support Development in Rural India through CORD activities.

We have planned lots of fun activities, games and of course… great food!!!

Our goal is to help raise at least $10000.  If each family raises at least $50, we will achieve our goal.We are hoping to make this walk for CORD the best ever, so the more contributions you raise, the more successful we will be in achieving our goal. 
1. To participate in the walk for CORD, a $20 minimum is required per pledge sheet.  You may start collecting pledges as soon as you receive your pledge sheets. Please turn in the pledge sheet and money on the day of the event. 
2. Each sponsor making a pledge should write their own name, and pledge. Youshould collect the pledge in advance but must keep pledge sheet until all donations are collected.
3. Participants are asked to assemble at 9:30 am.  While the walk for CORD is for 3 miles, you may choose to walk less or more than 3 miles. No running/ jogging/bikingwill be allowed. Participants are encouraged to wear hats and sunscreen if it issunny or bring rain gear if it is rainy.We look forward to all our participants having a great time!
